Micro-NOx Burner
Micro-NOx Features & Benefits

Micro-NOx Standard Package Options

Ultra Low NOx is a Coen Standard!

  • Standard Micro-NOx burner packages are available for NOx requirements down to ultra Low NOx levels.
Or, We Can Optionally Design to Your Site-Specific Needs

  • Micro-NOx burners can be mounted with the combustion air fan either above or below the blast tube centerline, and with gas and oil piping connections on either the right or left side of the burner. The configuration desired must be selected at order placement.

  • We offer a full range of gas trains to meet your specific fuel supply and code requirements. Our standard is to ship the components for your assembly, but we can optionally assemble them for you. Our standard assumes natural gas at 10 PSI regulated pressure from your regulator available to our valve train.

  • Standard electrical connections are for 60 Hertz three phase power supplies, 50 Hertz capabilities are optionally available.

  • Standard combustion air fan selections support operation at altitudes up to 2,000 Ft above mean sea level. Selections for higher altitude operation are optionally available.

  • Standard combustion air fan selections support the following boiler furnace pressures: up through 400 Hp - 2” W.C.; over 400 Hp through 600 Hp - 3” W.C.; over 600 Hp through 800 Hp - 4” W. C.; over 800 Hp through 1000 Hp - 5” W. C.; over 1000 Hp through 1200 Hp - 6” W. C.; over 1200 Hp through 1500 Hp - 7” W. C. Selections for other pressures are optionally available.

  • Single-point positioning modulating controls are standard on the Micro-NOx. Linkageless controls and metered cross limited parallel positioning systems are optionally available.

  • Oxygen trim systems including those augmented by variable frequency blower motor drives are optionally available on the New Micro-NOx.

  • NEMA 12/4 electrical cabinets are standard, NEMA 1 is optional

  • Firing capabilities for Natural Gas, Propane and oils conforming to ASTM D396 # 2, 4, 5 and 6 are standard. Other gases including Butane, blended gases and low BTU waste gases and other oils including Bunker C, waste oils and foreign heavy oils are potentially available upon specific analysis of the proposed fuel.

  • Atomizing air compressor or “house air” atomization media connection is available in lieu of standard steam atomization

  • Steam atomization is standard for combination gas/oil. Compressed air can be added optionally.

  • Industrial quality pump and heater sets with strainers and pressure regulation are available for use with heavy oils

  • Air inlet silencers are available for noise sensitive installations.
