CTL Smokeless Oil Igniters 
With the acquisition of Combustion Technologies (CTL), Coen
brings the utility industry a full complement of ignition and warm-up
hardware for any type of boiler application or igniter fuel. CTL igniter
systems include the patented Smokeless Igniter for oil firing to reduce
opacity under the most difficult combustion conditions.
Gas Igniters
Ranging from 1 MBtu/hr to 50 MBtu/hr, Class 1 to Class 3, the stability
of Coen's gas igniter products exceeds the needs of the utility power
industry. Proven designs provide reliable light off, solid flame stability
and low maintenance.
In-Line Duct Burners For:
- De-NOx Systems
Reheat flue gases upstream of the SCR to control the temperature before
the ammonia injection and provide uniform temperature profile for optimal
catalyst efficiency.
- Flue Gas Desulphurization
Reheat boiler flue gases downstream of a Wet Scrubber to better
control downstream condensation corrosion and a visible plume.
- Coal Mill Air Pre-Heaters
Preheat coal mill primary air allowing plants to fire high moisture
Western Coal.
WS-1 Warm-up Guns
The Coen WS-1 Warm-up Gun is the industry
standard for boiler warm-up. With a wide range of fuel capabilities and
heat inputs, there are almost no limitations to the application of the
WS-1 packaged igniter/warm-up gun system.
