Important Definitions:

Load-following Unit: For the purposes of this rule, a load-following unit is defined as a unit with normal operating load fluctuations and requirements which exceed the operational response range of an Ultra-Low NOx burner system(s) operating at 9 ppmv NOx. The operator shall designate load-following units on the Permit to Operate.

 

Emission Control Plan (ECP): The ECP shall identify all units that are subject to this rule and the steps to be taken to achieve compliance. The ECP shall contain the following minimum information:

 

Authority to Construct (ATC): An ATC Application must be submitted by the owner/operator for each unit subject to this rule.

 

Full Compliance: Owner must demonstrate that each unit is in compliance with this rule.
